Saul Palma Herrera
Co-founder and Vice President Saul was born and raised in Ollantaytambo, Peru. Eager to learn the tourism trade at the young age of 11, he first began as a porter and worked his way to becoming a tour guide. At age 13, he worked the Inca trail for the first time and has since completed it more than 350 times. He has raced the Inca trail and completed it in 5 hours and 57 minutes! For more than 8 years, he has been leading people from all over the world on various treks to Machu Picchu and the Sacred Valley. Next year, he will be running for President of the Tour Guide Association, the largest association in Peru. He speaks Quechua, Spanish, and English fluently. In his free time, he enjoys soccer, volleyball, animals, nature, writing, dancing singing, and time with friends and family. |
Angie Parris-Raney
Co-founder and Director/President Angie currently resides in Littleton, CO and works as the Director of Strategic Partnerships and Advertising for the Professional Assist Corporation, serving more than 93,000 massage therapy and beauty professionals. She manages the advertising for Massage & Bodywork and Skin Deep magazines, as well as, runs her own private massage therapy practice. In her free time, she enjoys hiking the 13er’s and 14er’s of Colorado, backpacking, camping, skiing, snowshoeing, running, rock climbing, and stumbling around learning Spanish. Her joy of the mountains and working with children is what led her to her volunteer experiences in Peru and in co-creating this project. She is currently a Colorado and international adventure trip leader with the Colorado Mountain Club www.cmc.org |
